Our team work under strict procedures to ensure your data is kept secure and confidential. You can view our Confidentiality Agreement here.

How do I send you my drive?Back to top

Collection is provided in our data recovery service. Hard drives are sensitive pieces of equipment and require adequate packing to protect it during transport. A medium sized box should be used to provide protection. Place your hard drive in an anti-static bag (if you have one) and securely wrap in bubble wrap or foam. The box should be well padded to stop the hard drive from moving around within the box.

What to do when your drive failsBack to top

    • Stop using the device. If there is a physical fault with the hard drive, turning it on may make the problem worse.
    • Call us for a free consultation. We can give an expert opinion on the problem and can advise on next steps you should take.
    • Do not perform any D.I.Y recovery as it could result in your data becoming permanently unrecoverable.

Can you recover my deleted files?Back to top

When you delete a file, your computer does not permanently remove it from your drive. The operating system marks the file as deleted, which allows other files to be saved over it. If you have deleted a file there is a good chance it can be recovered, providing the operating system hasn't overwritten it.

How much does data recovery cost?Back to top

The price of data recovery is dependant on the type of fault and capacity of your hard drive. Faults are catagorised into logical or physical faults. We offer Data Recovery from £45.
