Your replacement media is securely packaged to ensure it's safety during transit.
Replacement media used is dependant on the service chosen, if you wish to have your recovered data transfered onto your own media please make a note of it when booking the data recovery.

How do I send you my drive?
Collection is provided in our data recovery service. Hard drives are sensitive pieces of equipment and require adequate packing to protect it during transport. A medium sized box should be used to provide protection. Place your hard drive in an anti-static bag (if you have one) and securely wrap in bubble wrap or foam. The box should be well padded to stop the hard drive from moving around within the box.

What to do when your drive fails
- Stop using the device. If there is a physical fault with the hard drive, turning it on may make the problem worse.

- Do not perform any D.I.Y recovery as it could result in your data becoming permanently unrecoverable.
Can you recover my deleted files?
When you delete a file, your computer does not permanently remove it from your drive. The operating system marks the file as deleted, which allows other files to be saved over it. If you have deleted a file there is a good chance it can be recovered, providing the operating system hasn't overwritten it.
